im also interested in the line of guest speakers and such
at this point i am not sure if i am gonna make it BUT if they some pretty cool events i will go also does anyone know what the entry fee would be?

Any details on who is speaking sunday and times at the qdma convention...this should be a great show for deer hunters and land owners to attend just not a lot of info on website...Anyone who goes saturday if you do not mind tell us your opinions on going up to the deer expo...a five hour round trip for me if I attend...

If I was you I don't believe I would make a 5 hour round trip just for the expo. The expo is just that a expo like many others what you need to do is go for the whole thing next time. The think tank and research sessions are the meat of the convention this is the real deal this is not some celeb hunter telling you how to kill big deer this is hours and hours of reaserch this is when the biologist speak. As a matter of fact if you are a biologist or a forester this counts for continuing education. You can do everything for about 280bucks that includes meals and the auctions. the think tank and research session are 70 bucks if you choose just to do them two events and that will also get you in the expo.

Sorry, just saw your post. Took the family on saturday & had a good time. About 4 hours round trip. Siminars not anything special, but Lee & Tiffany Lakowski were great, they spent time with each fan for autographs & pics, made the kids feel special. seem like down to eath folks. Lots of reps from camera, seed, clothing... Found a few deals. I agree with the previous post though on the early events. One of the QDMA people told me they thought they were coming back next year. I'll atend the other events for sure if they do.
