Anybody seen or heard from Xtreme????? Could be up a tree and the bottom part of his climber slipped? [?]

I had that happen last year. I had been wondering what the rope between bottom and top part of my Summit stand was for and then that baby slipped. There I was with the bottom half kinda swinging from the rope about 6 feet below me. Managed to pull the bottom part back up and then shortened the rope so it couldn't get away anymore. Kinda leaves you hanging and wondering when that happens.

i always tie my climber to the stand...ya just never know it makes me feel more secure knowing that if what happens to you happens to me...thx for sharing your lil scare

Gosh, I'm sure glad to see I have some friends who worry about me when I don't show up here every day[:)] I'm fine folks, it's the pre -rut and I'm on vacation abd Eddie D. and myself have camera in hand and we are hunting our rear ends off[:D]

The sad part is we are not seeing very many deer[:(] I hope the rut kicks in ASAP[;)]

There's no need to fear, the Xtreme man is still here[:o)][:D]...sans deer[buck][xx(]

I ALWAYS!! wear my safety harness..I may freeeze or die of a heart attack upon seeing a BIG buck, doing the "pine tree plunge" is something I take great pains to prevent.

I plan to get caught up on my letter writing and pestering when the gun season starts. Thanks a MILLION for the concern my friends!!
