> July 14 "Open Fields" Breakfast Briefing
>
> On Wednesday, July 14 at 8:00 a.m. the CSF and TRCP will be hosting a
breakfast briefing discussing legislation that is pending in the House and
Senate that directly tackles one of the biggest problems confronting the
average sportsman in the United States: loss of access to quality hunting
and fishing opportunities on private lands. Come join us for breakfast and a
look at the innovative access programs that the "Open Fields" bill would
support and expand. The bill's simple approach helps fund state programs
that offer landowners financial incentives and liability protection for
voluntarily opening their fields, woods and waters for hunting, fishing and
other outdoor recreational activities.

> The briefing will be held July 14 in B369 Rayburn House Building at 8:00
a.m. Please contact the CFS office if you or your organization would like to
participate.

The biggest reason that farmers and landowners in my area do not allow hunting, fishing, etc. Is the liability/insurance issues,Insurance companies and frivilous lawsuits have ruined the USA in my opinion.
