Other than the actual broad heads for causing the fatal wound on a bird- (and everyone has their favorite cutting blade), has anyone any advice from experience to share regarding a follower attachment behind the broad head - like a game stopper? Does anyone have info on devices to slow down or prevent penetration through turkeys? How about it? Has anyone used an attachment to prevent total penetration? How does this affect tracking and/or collection of hit birds. The only bird I have taken was without any attachment and resulted in a clean pass through followed by a full force take off flight and disappearing act, leaving a bloody arrow. I found two feathers and a little blood over 200 yds away. No bird.

Thanks - TGTurkeytaker

NAP has a spitfire designed just for turkeys. It has a blunt tip to absorb energy and help prevent the arrow from passing all the way through. I spitfires for deer but have no experience with the turkey points.
