Not the first time I've seen the clip, but it never gets old.
The .577 was designed to be over the top in everything, including recoil.

That's not a .577 t-rex. The t-rex has a shoulder and isn't anywhere NEAR that big (just a bit over 3" oal.

I believe that's a 4 bore cartridge.

BTW... The company that developed this cartridge was origionally based in KY I belive (A-Square).

Saw it a few years ago. Pretty neat though! Accuratereloading.com originated those videos if I'm not mistaken and it's a .50 BMG cartridge necked up to .577 from what I understand.

yea, every time I look at a .50 bmg cartridge, I think to myself, "man, if we could just make this bigger some how":D

Good looking facility. 400yd rifle range open to the public - that is fantastic.

Its not a necked up 50bmg. It takes a standard large magnum primer cci 250 to be exact. 155 gr of RL 15 is the load data. It has its own draw data. I used to make them.
