Well about 36 hours & them hollars will be full of gun smoke......best knap yer flint & keep yer powder dry!

Be sure of your target, there are other folks out there who won't be wearing orange (ie farmers, hikers, rubber neckers, etc) & remember happiness is a BIG gut pile.

Got a 325 gr. Barnes bullet in front of an itchy trigger finger! If it's brown, it's down.....With the exception of small bucks!

Is that legal to take more than one gun in the field. I thought there was a rule against taking more than one gun.

Maybe I should go get a pistol thats not a bad idea. A muzzle pistol now that would not take as long to clean. To late this year but theres next year.

Good luck to everybody this weekend!!! Hope you get the one you want. I have found a good buck but I think it will be too warm for him to move much. Not going to be good weather like last year. Saw a group of 3 bucks last night on my farm. A 4,6,and small 8. The 6 and 8 were clicking antlers. It was funny, I was on the 4-wheeler and the 6 pulled back from the 8 and started to turn and run. The 8 ran up and racked him in the A@@. Then the 8 noticed me and they all 3 ran into the woods. They were in an 8 acre hayfield. I think the old bucks have broken up. I found one scape yesturday going in to scout for a ML spot on a friends farm. So things shoud start to heat up. I hunted a buck for 3 weeks on another farm. He came in Sunday evening but was only a wide racked 7 pt that needs a couple more years. He had sure tore up that hill side thicket. Good Luck!

Shogan... I don't see anything in the rules says I can't carry as many muzzleloading weapons as I want in to the woods. About the pistol...it's as hard to clean as a rifle, just a shorter barrel. Both my muzzleloaders are Knight inlines an not that hard to clean.

I plan to use the pistol if I have a decent shot 25 yards or less an anything longer use the rifle.
