This was taken back in 90 or 91. Pap was putting his handloads into a single ragged hole at 100 yards. The young buck with the spotting scope and headful of hair is me.
Pap died 18 years ago today. I miss him.

Looks like Pap had that hat cocked back,he was bearing down on that bullseye.Nothing like a Marlin lever for puttin them big boys on the ground.

Great picture, Marty. I would have that one enlarged and hanging in the den if it were mine.
I've dug through several old photos and can't find a single one of me and my dad together doing any sort of outdoor activity. :(
Not that we didn't do most every outdoor activity together, we just never figured they would end so abruptly.
