So does anyone think he can back into a fuel milage race again today? Or do you think it will be another 40 races before he lucks into another one. I myself think it will be the latter. :D:D:D HEATH

Yea, I seriously doubt Mikey can pull it off.

Yep, your right. It is time for him to get out of the car. I hate to say it but he is done and I predict that you will see 2 new drivers at MWR next year and mikey will back down to a part time role. At least thats what I hope happens.
Looks like its on to 37 and beyond. HEATH

I look for truex to move over to the 55, hope he brings BPS with him. You think ambrose is out or you figure they are running 4 teams?

A little bird tells me that Truex will bring BPS with him in a new team and Kassey Kane will drive the ole napa #55.
That being said, that little bird has lied to me before. I personally think that makes alot of sense. Marcos is a rookie and after he gets a little seat time in the COT he will run with Ruet. MWR has done a 180 and I really believe that Ruet and Ambrose will have a great second half. Like I said before, I think Mikey is done. Maybe he has been for awhile now. I do look for him to run a partial though. Depending on how much GM cuts back, it can only mean good things for MWR. HEATH

it aint just about winnin though. Mikey gets em as much screen time as some of the front runners do their sponsors. I look for good things to come from MWR, maybe even a championship in the next 3-5 years. If Nascar last that long anyway. Mikey is done though as far as driving.
Heath, I like your little bird, hope he is right.

There is no doubt that Micheal Waltrip gets the yellow and blue colors of NAPA on the tube more than most....... But the idea is to do it in such a way that you can tell that it is the number 55 NAPA Camry, not some jalopy that just finished a feature at the local demolision derby.....!:D

shoot, Mikey is the master at sponsor display. I mean just the other day he expertly spun his car every time he entered pit road in order to more completely show ALL the sponsor names and not just the ones on the passenger side of the car. Who else out there was thoughtful enough to do that?:D

I agree that nobody gets their sponsors name out better than Mikey. But they are paying for TV during the race also, but the only time they show him is when he wrecks, almost wrecks, or is getting lapped.
I would like to see his team do good, since he is a native Kentucky boy, but the best thing he can do is step down, and let somebody else wheel his car next year.
