i bought a 1962 year model Marlin 336 in great shape, less the walnut stock:(. The forearm is in great shape. Anyone know where a fellow might find one??? Thought it might be a good gun to leave at my camp, in case a deer or a wild hog shows up at camp:eek::eek::eek::eek:...............Thanks

You can go either with a camo or black synthetic stock from Ramline (not expensive at all) if you are looking for something more sophisticated there's a place on the web/eBay that sells beautiful stocks for 336's and 1895's called Macon gun stocks for really affordable prices: http://macongunstocks.net/marlin_model_336_2_piece_riflestock_53.html
