Nothing like being at the beach. We arrived last night and woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny day. The beach is awesome!! All kinds of sites!:D

I just got back from a week at Myrtle. It was beautiful. I'd recommend Big Crab for the all you can eat buffet. One last word of advise, DON"T SKIMP ON THE LOTION! That sun will fry you quick. :)

We hit the Big Crab tonight. I had 9 sets of crab legs and some shrimp. And yes the sun bakes well. I was already sun burned before I can down here so I am taking extra precautions.

It's only fun if you don't live there.

My wife and I are trying to plan our 1st trip there. Give us some hints on places to stay that don't cost an arm and a leg and a decent location with lots of stuff in walking distance.

We are staying at Beach Cove Resort. Go to www.beachcove.com and check it out. We have stayed here twice now and we really like it. It really all depends on what you are wanting to do. We don't say right in Myrtle Beach we go to North Myrtle Beach where its a little more laid back.

My family and I go there so much that I'm surprised that we aren't considered residents. This summer, you can get some sweet deals on the internet as, believe it or not, tourism is down. The meter I am using to measure that last statement is that July 4th week is ALWAYS sold out in early June and even in May at our favorite places and now, I can look on the web and find great deals PLUS incentives like breakfast, shows, etc. Shop around and find what you like.

Same thing I was doing in Destin the year before last. Sitting on the beach drinking beer and boosting somebody's wifi..... :D

Crab me and my son caught last night on the beach. A couple hundred more of these and we could have a crab boil.

That's a filthy cormorant. You should have stomped it lifeless before it migrates back up here and destroys any more of the islands on Ky or Barkley.

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean but I'll keep it PG for the mod's!!
My good friend in NC parents have a house about 2 blocks from the beach and they let us stay for free when we have the chance to visit. Its great and his kids are the same age group as mine so its full of kid freindly stuff. We usually eat most of our meals at the house and spend all day at the beach/pavillion. That place has changed so much since my younger days of cruiz'n the strip! This year we booked a house in Carolina beach that accomodates 10. first vacation with sis/bro-n-law and family, but we're right on beach. Can't wait til July 5th!!!!

Loser. Ditch the kids and man up to a little sun and heat.
