I was going to get it till I found all the results a few minutes ago online. I didn't realize the fight was in Germany and actually started at 3:00 this afternoon.

I should have posted a thread on here. These Euro early start times usually screw me up too, but I remembered and watched this one on the computer live. :)

It wasn't that great of a card. The Hardy/Davis fight was a nice brawl, and Ace/Axe Murderer had some good moments.

If Cain Velasquez ever gets any striking skills and even a modicum of submissions, he's going to be unbeatable. He totally owned Kongo the whole fight, but he should have subbed him many times and didn't seem to have the know-how to do that. He also was hit with 2 big power shots by arguably the best striker at heavyweight, and he proved he has a tough, Mexican jaw. Watch out for him in this division.

I didn't get to watch the fight. But the Kongo fight was the one that I cared about the most. Kongo is probably my favorite fighter in the UFC at the moment. I haven't got to see Velasquez fight, but I've heard he is good. I really want to see that fight.

It is funny that you say that he has a Mexican jaw. The people that I watched the fight with were making fun of him for being all "Mexicanned" out considering his parents were born in the states and he was too.

He does have a heck of a chin on him though. He got rocked two or three times by Kongo. If that goofy SOB could have stayed on his feet he may have had a chance.

Was anyone else surprised by some of the judges scoring? Not really in who won the fights but the scores of the rounds? We were surprised at the scores and the fact that some were a unanimous decision. I don't hve the scores to see which ones and I don't recall all of them.
