Guys meet my oldest grandaughter Emily. She ships to USAF basic on monday...Lackland AFB will never be the same once she gets there...:D...She has been working her tail off getting in shape for the physical training and is very excited with her choice of joining up.

beautiful young lady and I wish her the best. AF is the way to go. I throughly enjoyed my years @ LAFB. Went to AF to see the world and saw alot of TX. Basic @ LAFB, Tech school in Sheppard (Witchita Falls) and back to LAFB at Wilford HAll Med Ctr. Was some of the finest training I'm ever had. She'll do great.

wishin her the best of luck i feel she is making a great move and will have many stories to share...she will get to see the world
just keep them letters going aint nothing like letters from home

Beautiful young lady,I wish her the best of luck.Don't mean to be a downer here,but I swear I'd worry to death if a daughter or granddaughter went into the military,I've read and saw too many horror stories of rape and mistreatment of women in the military,most go unreported.Please tell her to be very careful.

Duster, she will do fine. My oldest has two weeks to go at her A.I.T. training down in Biloxi Miss.
