Have any of you all had experience with waterproof digital cameras?

Were going on a cruise and own a pool. We would like to purchase a decent one to capture all the cool shots while snorkeling and swimming.

I've been looking and not much of the reviews sound so great.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I bough the wife an Olympus Stylus 1050. It is waterproof, dust proof, dang near bullet proof & takes great pictures! It wasn't cheap though. Check Amazon.com

That's cheap. I was only finding cameras for like $350. I need something simple like yours.

Dang! They have gone way down! I paid almost $300.00 9 months ago when I bought the kit with memory card, etc.
It does take great pictures, though, both in the water & out.

I have an Olympus Stylus Tough. I love it! It says it's waterproof to 33 feet and shock proof from almost 7 feet, but I don't plan to test it. It's 12 mp and takes great pics. It should run you $400 give or take.
