improving habitat

I am wondering if you guys could help. I have a friend with about 116 acreas in Marion County. He is wanting to try to improve the habitat of his farm. I was wondering where a good place to help get him some information. I have been given the phone number of the his county's wildlife biologist, by fish and wildlife. Any and all help is appreciated.

Get ahold of the wildlife biologist in Marion co. and he'll set up a time to meet at the farm.He'll help work out a habitat plan.If you agree to kill fescue and plant native warm season grasses there will probobly be some financial assistance available.I did this 3 years ago and it was worth it,especially if you hunt rabbit and quail.

i have had good luck with whitetail clover from al it is expensive but some of my fields have lasted up to six years just make sure u lime well
