Anyone have a 308 cal. contender pistol? If so how you like it and how is felt recoil?

I am interested in buying on or maybe 7mm.08 even.

I have the Encore pistol 7mm-08 15 inch barrel,recoil is no problem for me.

You'll need the "Encore" for the caliber you mentioned.

My Contender in 7-30 Waters will shoot 1/2 MOA 100 yard groups (off sandbags, handloads, good scope). Most of the TC single shot pistols are as accurate as a good deer rifle when comparing like chamberings.

Mine shoots that good as well!!! It is one of my most accurate guns...
