This pic makes him look small, but trust me this sucker is huge!
He would fill the palm of your hand....

Nice Spider, I am sure he or she will keep all the bugs and flys away.:D

I seldom find any inside the house, but if I do I usually carry them outside and let them walk.

Thats why I leave them alone. I did put a female outside last spring that had a huge NEST under her belly. I think they are pretty cool to watch, and fast tooooooo.....

Is that a Brown Recluse? I've seen what one did to a friend of mine and now I kill every spider I see. I'd rather have insects than watch a part of my body rot off.

No, thats a wolf spider, pretty much harmless. This is a recluse

Ouch, that has to hurt. I remember talking to the bug people at Fort Knox and they had some of those sticky traps full of Brown Recluses. The fella said those were the most BR's that he has seen in one area.

Same fella also told me one time he was checking the critter traps and one of the traps had a skunk inside, he tried to release it and got sprayed for his effort. He told me stripped down butt naked and threw his clothes in the back of the truck and went home to take a shower and put on some clean clothes.
