This holder swivels and accomodates a wide variety of brands of bow quivers. I always liked a hip quiver over a bow type. I like this one a lot because you can adjust it to about any angle you want on your side, for any type terrain you're hunting in. Do any of you use one ? Just curious. Good luck in the late season !!

I used bow quivers for 16 years and have been using a hip quiver for the past 6. I'm giving up the hip quiver and going back to a detachable bow quiver. The hip quiver was just too inconvenient for walking, crossing or going under fences, brush, etc. Many times I found myself just carrying the hip quiver rather than putting it on. I have to take it off anyway when climbing the tree so it was an extra thing I had to attach to the haul line. With the bowquiver I can walk more freely (don't have to keep bow away from hip quiver, etc.)and only have to attach one item to haul line. I like shooting a quiverless bow so I'll just detach the thing once up the tree.

I like shooting a quiverless bow also but I don't like the extra weight on the bow when stalking or going to my tree. I know it's not that much but I've gotten used to walking this way. The thing I like about the sidewinder is, you can put it in any position to get through that fence or through, even a thicket easily. All I do is reach back and give it a little turn. Good huntin' !
