Got back this weekend from the swing up thru Iowa and Missouri. Had a great time! The crew ended up killing 3 in Iowa and 4 in Missouri on video. We will probably be going back for a couple days at the end of their season after the Ohio trip to try to finish our limits since you are only allowed 1 bird the first week.

Here are some pics of the bird i killed Thursday Morning. 24.5 poounds, 10.75" beard, and sharp spurs of just over 1.25".10309

Yea. Dustin was slated to shoot first in Missouri with me running camera. He missed on a golden oppurtunity opening morning at 15 steps with his bow due to an equipment malfunction. Be sure to ask him about it when you talk to him. I sure he would LOVE to talk about it some more!!!!!!:D:D;)

I can tell you're crushed he didn't connect on that "golden opportunity" and you just had to smoke that big ole' hooked bird! ;) Congratulations on a great trip.

Actually, i killed this bird on Thursday, Dustins incident happened on Monday morning. We did talk about it a little bit all week, though.:D

I'm sure you guys didn't rub it in at all and were very supportive. As we all would be under these circumstances.;) Glad you all had a great trip and I hope Ohio is just as good to ya.
