I live in South Eastern KY and havent heard anything since daylight opening morning and was getting pretty frustrated having to load everything on the 4 wheeler and ride for an hour to hunt. Well today I was sitting out on my back deck watching my son (7) and daughter (4) jump on the trampoline, thinking GOD for how much he had blessed me. Then real faint like I thoght I heard something so started listening real well, sure enough right up on the mountain behind my house I heard a gobble. So i grab a call my son and daughter follow and we go up behind my cousins and aunts calling and listening. I have heard one Double Gobble even Triple but this one Gobble 5 times without a breath man that gets me goin. I would say my aunt thought i was crazy when she looked out the window and saw me standing there making crazy sounds in my wifes shoes and work clothes and my kids without any shoes lol. That was a ball, maybe they will get started after all.
