Well I shot my first bird for this year in Kentucky. After being frustrated by birds that seemingly seem to always fly down and go a different way then they did the day before and getting stung by one of them big red colored hornets, I fell asleep in the Double Bull with the nice warm sun on it around 9am. Woke up around 10am and peeked around and looked out the back of the blind and had 2 hens and 3 jakes about 50 yards and closing. Took the first jake that gave me a shot. Nothing glamorous but kinda funny really. Will make some good eating.
