how often do birds roost in the same spot? had one roosted last night.... well we wont finish that story... u think he will roost in the same spot tonight?

i had one roost the same spot 3 days in a row one time last week, needless to say he roosted in the freezer the 4th night :D but on the other hand i had a bird roosted on one spot one morning, well the next morning he wasnt there
