A member of my website forum has probably killed a new Indiana A-Typical state record wild turkey.
The present Indiana record is 136.9200
His turkey had 5 beards for a total of 48 inches of beard. Spurs were - 1.562 each. The bird weighed 25 lb.. That places it about 152.24 in NWTF scoring.
It should be in the top 40 in the nation.

First let me say Thanks for the threads about the taking of this bird, now let me set the record straight..the bird scored a total of 148 which should be the new Indiana record, the spurs were not as long as reported here they're actually 1.375 each, still a very nice bird!!!

I'm not a vet, but the turkey in that picture sure looks dead to me. ;)
