the past 3 or 4 mornings that i have been out hunting i hear gobbles. problem is, none of the gobbles are on land that i can hunt. so my question is, where do you usually like to set up if your not hearing gobbling in the morning?

That's like the farm I hunt but it's like this the birds travel a wide range and one day you get lucky and they're there while like you other days they're off on other property--hand in there sooner or later they will show up on your farm

yeah, they usually finally make it back around. youth weeken my son and i had a jake at 20 yards. opening morning i was calling for my dad, we had 3 or 4 gobbling at us but was hung up.
after the gobbling stops should i just go where i heard them in the morning, set up in a food plot ( with no food by the way, just dirt ) or just pick a big ridge and sit tight??
