With almost 2 wees of the season left I think we will come close to if not beat the record. It's been a pretty good season seems like thus far and I believe over the next week to week and a half it will get even better.

Couldn't agree more with you scrapejuice. I heard more gobbling the past two mornings then in the previous week combined. I feel like things are just beginning to heat up in my neck of the woods as well.

If it gets beat this year We will blow it out of the water next year. All the jakes hav emade the hunting a little rough around here. Next year with loads of 2 y/o willing to commit suicide by gobbling themselves to death infront of the shotgun we should really hit some crazy numbers! Atleast thats my prediction!

I agree, I've seen more jakes this year than any year previous and the season is only about 1/2 over.
