Called this bird it twice yesterday from 12:00 to 4:00. My brother shot at him twice -archery. He kept gobbling and went away, we broke the blind down dropped to a creekbed went around him and set up, called him right in, he walked a circle around the blind 15 -20 yards, never gave me a shot opportunity. The bush honeysuckle was too thick and he didn't stay in the roadbed we set up in long enough for a shot.
He didn't want any part of B-Mobile...
I hit him every time I shot... the camera is pretty accurate!

Surely that brother of yours has some kind of excuse:confused:...the sun in his eyes, ;)limb deflected arrow:rolleyes:....something.....anything....no way he just missed:eek: twice...
I feel for him, I am certain he is not the only person that has ever missed a turkey. I did it with a shotgun.

Beautiful picture.
To see a gobbler in full strut... up-close & personal should be a required experience for everyone. Amazing creatures with every color imaginable.
