Thanks to WBBP, lablover & lablovers gal, for a great time at the cookout today. A good time was had by all with great food, stories, fishing and 4 wheeling. WBBR's farm was the perfect spot, for those of you that missed it, you missed a great time. Thanks again for the hospitality.
It was great to meet some of the guys on here. They were all a great group of sportsmen. Hope to see you again in the future.

Another big thank you from me. I had a great time, caught some channel cats, a couple bass and got a good laugh at somebody who found one mud hole a bit deep for a Polaris to cross on the first try. Hope we can do this again sometime.

I don't guess I'll ever live that mud hole incident down? Famous last words -"It didn't look that deep"!
A big thank you is definately in order. You guys did a great job, and thanks to lablovers gal we didn't go hungry. I hate I missed seeing some of you off. I wanted to get a group picture, but I couldn't drag cornbread off the water! We tore em up in the little pond. We lost count of bass and caught many big bull gills also. We were catching those big gills on big top water plugs! It was a blast.
Truly enjoyed every minute of the day and hated to see it end. Thanks again,
Dave
P.S. I'll post a few pics tommorow, but now I've got to go clean some guns!

I was sure sickened at being forced to work and miss the cookout i initially promoted. It was out of my handsa. Got to work my day off 2day as well, so no more squirrell hunting this spring. Can't wait 2c the pic's so i can show my co-workers what i missed![:(!] Glad to hear the weather held up ok.Lab-lover, i sent u a e-mail Saturday afternnon, hope u got it[?]Don't 4get to send me your home addy so i can send my share of the money[;)]
what u get out, is what u put in
Don't worry about the money. We did have a great time though. I truly enjoyed meeting everyone who attended. Skin-dog and cornbread were hilarious on the six wheeler. Cornbread is lethal with his shotgun. I think the only way to get to bust a clay with this guy around is to shoot it before it ever comes out of the thrower. We had a great little fishing adventure and I hate that I didn't get to stay until everyone else left. My girlfriend had made some plans with some of our friends and my time was up for the day.[V] I cannot wait until the next time that we have a cookout our plain ole get together. As a matter of fact I don't think that we should wait another year to do this. What do you guys think?
A bad day hunting is better than a good day at work.

Sounds good to me. It will give me a chance to make-up for missing the outing[;)]

Thanks to everyone who participated in the cookout. It was great getting to meet everyone face to face. The great thing about this get together is that we all had so much in common, it really made getting to know each other easy. I look forward to the next get together, wherever it is.
Thanks to Turki2di for coming up with the original idea.

WBBP, I forgot to mention, On the way out Cornbread and I saw a quail just up from the shelter hanging out in the gravel road, then up near the gate we saw a nice buck that looked to have a pretty good start in the antler department. You' ve got a great place there. I told Cornbread that you are living my dream!

I am not sure the names could stay the same for the next time... A couple new ones might be in order Skin Dog could change his name to Mud Puppy.... Cornbread could change his to Stinkbug.....LOL. Had a great time yall looking foward to the next time......Just kidding about the name changes. I want to fish that pond Skin Dog & Cornbread were fishing in the afternoon.

That pond has been posted and is now guarded by 10 pitbulls with aids! STAY AWAY!!! I will let you in on what you're missing by adding a few pics later. Check back in a little while for pics of the picnic! The new nicknames are cool. I forgot about cornbreads aquired taste for stink bugs! When I was a kid my dads CB handle was Water Dog and us boys were known as the mudpuppies! Had nothing to do with burying a six wheeler to the axles in butler county mud!

Gates looks like he's getting a bit impatient. The trapper was lagging behind cause of all them big 'ole Black Angus burgers he had disposed of earlier

Here is P Beyer and the future pro fishermen. The plan is to skip the college education and spend the money on him a new bass boat. By the time he's 22 we'll be eating wheaties with his picture on the box!

Thanks for the pics. They came out really good. As for the actions with my gun, I cannot answer that question until I speak to my lawyers.[:D]

This is the first time I have been near a computer since the cookout. Man I had a great time, except when that stinkbug flew in my mouth while on the Polaris. A great big thanks to WBBP and lab-lover for all their hard work. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and looking at their photos and hearing all the great stories. I hope we can do it again sometimes. To all that could not attend, I understand but you really missed out on a great time with a bunch of great people.
