I live in GA but plan on hunting my place in Logan co this weekend. All of the forecast I have seen on the net show Isolated Thunderstorms this weekend. What are the local forecast saying? From the sound of recent post it sounds like the birds aren't as hot as they where last week, what are yall seeing?

We have been seeing a coldfront and low pressure about every 48 hours. They aren't gobbling as good but from my experiences it has been on the postfrontal breezy days. Saturday looks good so far....rain on Sunday....but since when can you rely on a 5 day forcast in April.

Thats the way it has been in GA so far this season. www.weather.com got me soaked to the bone this morning with their WRONG forecast. I would love it if it held out at least one day.

I like the forecast yall are seeing for Saturday better than the one on weather.com I'm looking at. Do you all have a good website to check the weather up there. Thanks

Saturday should be ok for most of the day, with rain moving in later in the day. Sunday doesn't look to good. Birds are henned up big time, same ole story. But some have been hearing gobbling up in the middle of the day some. Good luck.

Yeah they are gobbling good, as of Sunday morning. I went and scouted a field Sunday morning and had 7 different long beards come by at different times all within 40 yards and they were looking for hens. I had binos and noticed that the birds kept getting bigger as they walked by. The last two birds that came by had well over 1 1/2 spurs, I could see the spurs with my naked eye at 40 yards and when I put the binos on them I about fell over wishing it was season! I was shocked that they didn't have hens with them but they would gobble and strut in an area for 10-15 minutes then move on looking for hens. When I was walking out about 10:00 I jumped a hen out of a brush pile, I didn't look for a nest but I know she had one in there. I think we will hit the season perfect!

Forecast calls for a 100% chance of being a good day to give a Tom a deadly case of lead poisoning.

If we are lucky, the first half of Saturday might(?) be rain free, but after that, no quarentee's!
