This is one of those questions. Where you ask 100 ppl the question and get a hundred different answers.
What is wrong with the combo you are shooting now?

I shoot a jellyhead .665 with federal flight control number 5s. this is the most deadly combo I can come up with, and the jellyhead is only about 45 bucks. well worth it IMO.

I have the same gun you have. I shoot a Kicks Gobblin Thunder with 3" 5 shot Winchester shell. This is what the people at Kicks told me to use and I have smoked several toms with it.

Nothing, it has been the demise of many a gobblers. I was just on here the other day. And someone was stating that they were able to put 280-305 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards. Well, I pretty much knew that my gun wouldn't come close to that (or so I thought/think, I haven't tried it yet.). I haven't really kept up with what guns are capable of, so I thought if there is a way to improve my current gun without investing a lot of $$, then I might be interested. Several years back, I tried the hevi-shot and Remingtons hevi-shot choke, and it didn't perform well at all. I pretty much keep all my shots inside of 40 yards, but on occasion I have unknowingly took a longer shot, due to misjudged yardage (story for another time).

Like stated earlier...you will get 100 different answers from 100 diferent hunters. I'm partial to the Kick's GT just because they are affordable and perform as well as anything else I have encountered. But that is by no means the end-all answer. Try this. Take a lid from a 1.2 oz snuff can and pin it to a backing 50 yards away. You an use the lid to trace a few more cirlces on paper. Shoot five or so shots aiming at the center of the circle. If you can CONSISTANTLY put at least 3 pellets in it than you're good to go. I'm not sure what that equates to in a 10" circle. And I don't condone 50+ yard shots at turkeys just for the record. I know guys that claim 60 and 65 yard kills. Makes me wanna slap 'em.

That statement tells me you are confident with your gun and setup you have now, so why change it? To many ppl get hungup on the i have to get 400 pellets inside a 10 inch circle or my gun is not good enough to kill a turkey. A person can burn thru a whole lot of money trying to get the perfect gun. What works for one person might not even come close for another all guns are different. If it ain't broke don't fix it:D

I shoot a Remington 870 3.5" with 22" barrel with indian creek 660 with winchester #5's and would not hesitate to pull the trigger @ 50yds. I have patterned this gun with lots of different combo's and personally think that this is the best, even though i shot 5 turkeys with this combo last year but none were over 25 yds. With this combo inside of 20 yds you better be on the bird good or your gonna miss the pattern is that tight.:)

INDIAN CREEK.

Thru my 870 super mag shooting Nitros i am getting aroung 290 hits in a 10 inch circle at 40 yards. Contact them and tell them what kind of gun you shoot. They will set you up with the choke, tell you what kind of shells they recommend thru your combo, and let you know pretty close what kind of pattern to expect.

Stupid question. Why do people measure hits in a 10" circle. Must be some big turkys runnin' around.

.670 Kick's GT

what gun do you shoot the Kicks GT out of? I have a .655 GT I shoot out of my nova. I'm beginning to think that is too restricted.
