I've been to Wal-Mart, Rural King and Gander Mountain and haven't been able to find any permanone. The guy behind the sporting goods counter at Wally World said that permanone has been taken off the market because it causes cancer. Has anybody else heard this? I hate the thought of starting turkey season without spraying my hunting cloths with permanone.

I would say that sales associate was just very misinformed. I bought two cans yesterday at Wal-Mart here in Corbin and the shelf was full of it. I would think that if Wal-Mart had made that type of decision, it would have been a corporate wide implementation.

I was at the old walmart here in bg and the guy behind the counter told me the same thing. I asked why the man in front of me had 12 cans of the stuff and he said that was it and will be no more so I went over to the new walmart and they had a shelf full of it. I asked that guy about what the other walmart had said and he seem to think it was rediculous. He said he had heard of no such plans to take it off the market. I went ahead and stocked up on it and got 8 cans just incase there is something to the rumor. I guess we should expect a good product that really works would be harmful but I plan to keep using the stuff harmfull or not being covered in ticks cant be healthy either.

I went to another Wal-Mart today and they had plenty. I told the girl working in sporting goods that I couldn't find it at one of their other stores. She told me that they were told to quit carrying it, but her manager gotten special premission to keep stocking it since so many people come in asking for it.

Not so much the bugs as it is the brain inflammation and such from the Lyme disease. But maybe I'm just a woman. :D

If it makes you a man to have suffered through chiggers, turkey mites, and ticks, then I've passed and now have been enlightened through the holy grail of bug juice. You might laugh (everyone does) when you see the half dozen cans of bug freedom I always have in my truck, but EVERYONE appreciates me when they all forget their can of spray at O Dark Thirty...

I had the guy at walmart sell me an adult sportsman for 25.00. I told him it was wrong I wanted a youth sportsman and he argued with me so I gave him 25.00 for a 95.00 licence. His loss my gain. I even tried to be honest.

Better than my guy ringing me up for $950.00 last night! I then had to wait 45 minutes for a manager to come and override the transaction.....Good luck tomorrow!

I left there one time with a cart full of stuff and I got to thinking that I spent more than expected, but that never seems to surprise me there. When I got home I got to thinking that some more so I looked over the receipt and found out that they had charged me 47 dollars and some change for a dozen eggs!!!! Needless to say I took there precious eggs back to them! They said it was a UPC error and gave me my money back and let me keep the eggs, but I wonder how many people that day paid that for them and didn't even notice????
