this past weekend on the youth hunt we used a jake over a hen..... the bird came in PISSED off and broke both decoy stakes and pecked a big hole in the jakes head....... if i cam bowhunting i usually only use a hen that way the tom walks around and postures and poses for the hen adn you can get a shot instead of him goin crzy attacking the jake decoy

If i put out anything, it is usually 1 hen or a hen and a strutter.

I'm trying out bmobile for the first time this year too. I've heard of birds running away when they see it though. I'm guessing 2 yr old non dominant birds.

That b-mobil is about 50/50 with me. I'm getting hesitant about using it, but at the same time i've seen it drive birds nuts. My usual set up is a feeding hen if I use a decoy maybe with or with out a b-mobil or a jake. It's any bodys guess what a certain bird will like on a particular day...

I just use a single foam hen that I've had for about 10 years. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it hasn't failed me yet.

I just bought the DSD decoys and the paint scheme on them are out of this world. They look just like a turkey for sure with the size of the decoy and the material it is made out of makes it not heavy at all. I can't wait to use them.

i'm gonna use the fake fan that came with it....and if i get one i'm gonna make it look like a jake fan and use it.

I have used B-mobile for 2 years now. This season will be the 3rd and have used the synthetic fan the whole time. I have made a couple real fans but I find with my style of hunting...the fake is just more durable and easier. We kill alot of birds off of him the first 2 weeks it seems. Second day last year myself, my dad, and my buddy Adam killed a bird each of him in 3 hours. But for me....and I hunt exclusively on public land if that makes a difference....the last week or so they just don't seem to want any kind of confrontation. So I have had a few late season birds turn and walk away that I beleive would have other wise been killed. Usually late in the season.....once this happens twic...I leave him in the truck.
