has anybody turkey hunted around this area,if so how is it?

Never hunted the lake property, but I have hunted close to the lake in Lawrence Co. The place is absolutely loaded with birds and hunters as well.

Tons of birds.......probably gonna see a few hunters too though.

Lots of birds. I hunt several farms that are very, very close to the WMA. On a good morning you can hear several. If possible, I would recommend getting into some of the hard to reach areas by boat.
