Carl Billings in Corydon,Ky. This is the first one I've had him do and was pleased with his work. He has another bird of mine right now as well.

Not sure what you are trying to say there gobblergetter. If you think it looks like sh*t, just say so. The second picture does make it look a little rough I will admit, but I think it was how I was standing above it and shooting downward. The feathers are standing up along its back as if it was in full strut. The bird was taken with a shotgun.

i actually think that anybody who is able to go somewhere there not familiar with and kill a turkey is an excellent hunter, and im not trying to say that your bird looks like sh*t. I didnt know that you shot it out of a stand. Where were ya hunting at??? Also here in ohio co. the best taxidermest(or however you spell that) in my opinion is Doug Hoover. He has done all my turkeys and they couldnt be any more realistic. Ill try to send a pic of my dads gobbler!! Your bird is real fat it looks like, Good Job!

Happy Hunting

I didn't shoot it out of a stand. I was on the ground in your typical turkey hunting setup. What I meant by standing above it when I shot it, was with my camera. The picture angle does appear to make it rough looking, but it isn't. I will say that I have seen much better mounts and I've also seen alot worse.

We were hunting In Oklahoma. The bird pushed 21lbs, 10" beard and 1 1/8" spurs.
