I'd love to be there saturday night, But I'll be at work. I think cornbread and I will be there early that morning. I hadn't thought about bringing photos, but I'll bring along the album along with a few calls. Maybe I'll learn to do a kee kee or something. Are there gonna be any archery targets? If so I'll drag out the bow. I'll definately be bringing the shotgun for a few clay targets, dove season is just 12 weeks away!

I think since I only live about a 40 minute drive away I will sleep in my own bed and head there sunday morning around 9 or so. Look for a red dodge with a green yahama in the bed.

I will be there directly after Sunday School at church. I am fortunate enough to be within walking distance, so I will be riding my quad or driving the truck that has the john boat in it. I can't wait for this cookout. We had a meeting this afternoon and got our game plan etched in stone, so all we need now is some good weather and a group of people to help us eat some food. I don't think that is going to be too hard though.[:D][:D][:D]

Well guys, it looks like alow turn out, but hey, that means more for us. Right? Anyway, I would like to ask for a final time for a list of the people who are going to come for sure. We want to have plenty of food for everyone that is coming, but at the same time don't want to over do it and have a lot left over. Thanks again and can't wait to meet everyone this weekend.

We're planning on leaving early that morning so we can get there and do some fishing. Is anyone coming from Bowling green or passing through want to get together at Cracker Barrell or someplace for breakfast?

Only looks to like 9 or 10 of us gonna be there. I'm sure looking forward to it. I've got the trolling motor on charge, headed to wally world tommorrow to pick up some cheap shotshells. I'll be grabbing some bait on the way out of town for some of them big ole bream, and catfish. I'll have my tackle along to drag out some of dem bucketmouths. I'll have the camera to take plenty of pics to share. What a way to spend the off season!

I will try and do my part in getting the word out joekat! Im sorry to say that circumstances at work has caused me to not only miss the cookout 2day,but to work my day off tomorrow as well[:(!][:(]My spring season is over. I hope that the stormy weather spares the cookout today, cause it looked like they got hammered in the part of the world yesterday!

We got very little rain. Even though turnout was small, everyone had a great time. We had a great group of people there and even had a future pro fisherman giving tips and techniques on catching biguns from the dock! I don't think I've ever seen a little one so dedicated to fishing. P Beyer, looks like you're raising him right!

Thanks![;)] It made him feel teally good to hear yall talking about that! After everyone left we stayed up for a bit and fished for some Monster cats, caught about 10 nice ones, all after 10:00PM.

I'll post some pics after I get the truck unloaded!!!

Again, Thanks! It was a blast!

P. I am glad to see that you guys made it home okay. I hope that drive back home was a little better than athe drive down. I wish I had the dedication of your son. I honestly think he would rather fish than eat when he is hungry.

Thanks... About 4 1/2 hours there, and 2 1/2 back. The Weather was terrible on the way down. As for the fishing, well much like the previous few days I went to bed fishing, and woke up fishing. I believe I'm gonna take cornbreads advice and just buy him a bass boat!
