Put a new set of MetzlerZ6 Interact tires on the bike this week & finally got the chance to try them out this morning. Man, what a great tire! For anyone needing new 'shoes' for their sportbike, sport-tourer, or even cruiser I fecomment you take a look at these.
Oh, and the weather this am was perfect!

The weather is great here too. I went out a while ago for a ride and ALMOST got rear ended by a guy in a truck talking on his cell phone- while we were moving on a 1 lane road. Nothing like hearing screeching tires 5 feet behind you while you're driving at the speed limit. How does that happen?

I can tell you that the next intersection we came upon was FULL of people getting out of church. I put on a very public, very unholy show next to the truck when we stopped.

I hear ya, bro! Morons need to be reminded of their low social status whenever they do something stupid and/or dangerous. Glad you're OK. Always watch your 6!

RR I always did think highly of Metzler products. I had a set on a Z-1R back in the day. They did a great job stickin. Welll except when the boost got rolled on. :D

I had the Metzler SportecM3's on both the 954 & 1000RR and loved 'em! But, I tell you, the Z6 is a fantastic tire with new technology. Not quite as super sticky, but plenty good and should get much better mileage. I was putting new M3's on every 2500 miles or so on the street. That gets expensive! The Z6's should be good for about 8000 miles or so on the VFR, I hope.

I've had pilot powers & they are good, but I prefer super corsas. I like the profile of the corsa's better. The grip seems about the same, but when the pilots are done..they are DONE! I've plowed some nice butt-cheek furrows in the grass discovering that fact! lol
