Did you hear Wayne LaPiere talking on Glen Beck? Seems Diane Feinstein was corrected by ATF that the small arms being used in Mexico are mostly coming from Central America and the Mexican Army........Not from the USA!

Got a link to that?

Everything I find it says ATF says 90 - 95% of the guns captured down there come form the USA.

Im just reporting what Wayne LaPierre? stated on The Glen Beck show last night while I was watching Fox News........

Im not sure who would be selling .50 caliber machine guns to the Mexican drug cartels, but you would think that should be easy for the FBI and ATF to figure out right?

They are blurring machine guns in with semi autos. If fully auto machine guns are flowing into mexico, then bringing back the assault weapons ban will do NOTHING to stop it. Fully autos been illegal for years.

Im just trying to learn something here. I was in school and not really involved in the issue back in 1994 when the first assault weapons ban was enacted. I know the internet is much more in use than in 1994 and thus the exchange of ideas from person to person is much easier now than it was back then, but back then, was the topic as heated as it is now? There are several threads just on this forum about it and people are on TV routinely discussing the topic. And if the heat seems to be greater, do you think that will help the issue or hurt it?
