I would use one on private property and have it somewhere it won't be moved often, looks heavy. Also I would worry about the suns reflection from certain angles (sunrise, sunset) Inventive thinking though.

What do you think a big buck would do if he saw his reflection. I bet it wouldn't be pretty!

I was wondering the same thing! Looks like he'd have to be crouched down right beside the blind to see himself though. If a big buck got that close that'd probably mean you were asleep and about to get quite a wake-up call!!!

All of those pictures except the one in the road were made on cloudy days.. and that one is sitting in the shadows.
I bet that thing shines like... well, a chrome box... when the sun hits it.
That's not a new idea by any stretch. I have a copy of The Duck Hunter's Bible that was printed in the 60's (maybe before) that has a ground blind for goose hunting made from mirrors in it. There's actually a guy here that made a duck blind on KY Lake out of mirrors.
The technology is simple (and old) but has never taken off.. so that should tell you something.

Maybe, naybe not. For starters, 4-wheelers were hardly available back in the '70's, let alone ones with all the bells and whistles like the handy-dandy, specialized "Mirror Blind Racks" or "MBR's" as they're known in the trade.
MBR's are awesome and help "Mirror Blind Hunters" quickly, efficiently, and VERY quietly move their 683 lb. hunting blinds in and out of the field. Heck, barring any nagging back problems, just about any deer/turkey hunter can move their MB's from one end of a very long field to the other in less than 30 minutes.
Not only do ALL Mirror Blinds come with their own MBR's at no extra charge, you can also order an "MBP" ("Mirror Blind Pack") for only $75. The MBH's are made to fit on just about any sized donkey or pack-horse so that you're completely mobile on those elk hunts in the high country. ;)

Those are neat but I bet they are costly!
I've always thought the mirror thing is a sweet concept! Looks great in the pics, and is the ultimate camo, when viewed from the right angle. But.... I would really, really worry bout the glint from the sun, or the reflection of the sky at different angles. But, Like I said, sweet concept.

Yeah Im definitely gonna have to agree with quackrstacker on this one. All the pics looked good in the clouds of the day, but I would almost guarntee this thing shines bright when the suns high in the sky. Cool idea though.
