Went to my camp in Levy County this past weekend, just to drive around. (3500 acres). Saw a bunch of deer and scattered turkeys...turned down a road and about 200 yards up the road I thought I saw a big dark hog. Stopped. threw up the binocs, and for the next 15 minutes watched a big bearded Osceola strutt and dance to one hen....who paid him no attention.
Season down here opens March 21, so it looks like they are getting a good head start.

I look forward to this season more than any other! And it seems like every year when season goes out I'm always in the dog house! I always tell her that it has nothing to do with you! Then it really makes her happy when I say hunting is my first love :D
