Peabody Sinclair WMA and slurry basin

Have been turkey hunting these areas for years and was curious to hear other opinions of these areas.

My favorite part of Peabody was nearly destroyed by the ice storm. I don't know what effect it will have on the turkeys. I'm sure it will change thier patterns and habits some. I haven't hunted Sinclair much. If your spot had lots of pines I bet it's a mess too.

Nearly all my honey holes at Peabody have been taken out of hunting availability. Hunted Vogue last season one day & got lucky & killed one opening day. Couldn't hardly hear for coal trucks rumbling nearby. Couldn't reach my favorite area due to renewed surface mining. Wouldn't surprise me if you can't even hunt that this spring, they were eating up alot of ground!
