niiiiiice. I can't wait. What I am the most excited about is my 8 year olds first youth season:D He got his new shotgun for his birthday back in Jan. and is shooting it pretty well both off handed and off the bench. I think I might be more fired up about him getting one than I have ever been for myself:)

I can NOT wait to chase turkeys and look for morels among the mayapples and smell that rich, black woods dirt!

If ever I felt like acting like a dog, it's during Mid-April because the woods are so wonderfully fresh I just wanna roll in it.

Mmm turkeys. I saw a group of longbeards on the way home today. Yeah I'm the guy who swerves off the road and stands in the bed of his truck with binocs:rolleyes:

I like the pictures, It really gets the blood pumping doesn't it. I haven't had a chance to get out and listen but, there have been about 30 or 40 birds across the road from my house. I guess they haven't split up yet. huh. :)

Great Pics that must be a good spot for whitetails also noticed the tree stand in the background, wouldnt you guys have loved to have been hearing the talk that was going on among those birds. Cant wait.
