yep... I beleieve that reg is for safety reasons. But your right its awesome!

Actually the reg was recommended by then wildlife director Jim Lane on the basis it was to effective to have a motorized decoy that would move along a track turn around and come back.......Doc Webb interjected as long as they were not taking his Robo Duck he was for it........

Now that we supposedly have too many turkey's, the dept might allow a motorized turkey decoy!

The decoy is operated by two different lines that you have to pull. The use of springs up inside the body help aid in the retraction of your pull. That way you simply pull on a line then release it for the opposite reaction.Kind of hard to explain.Iv'e also made my own turkey sled for the hen decoy.Ever heard of it?I'll post the video when I get a chance. Thanks for the info on the electronic legality, I was already aware of it, otherwise this Badboy would be dancin with a couple of button pushes. Thanks for the comments.

I agree. That's an absolutely awesome looking decoy. Outstanding job!!!

When the tail goes up and down, it looks 100% like a strutting tom.

I'd love to see what kind of spring-loaded device you used for that thing.

I bought that same decoy at a local retailer in Louisville last weekend. All I need is the Spring mechanism installed. Care to help a brother out?

I have had alot of request for details on how this decoy was made.I have a couple of manufacturers looking at it right now, will probably amount to nothing. If it doesn't pan out I am going to try to post a video tutorial. Thanks for the replies and interest.
