Still hearing them across the road in the morning. Definitely tapering off though. Now it's just a couple half-hearted gobbles.
Have not heard any, but when I got up Saturday morning, I looked out of the living room window and saw two hens. Of course they were not alone. Mister longbeard was right behind them, almost as if to be taunting me.

Had one gobbling this morning outside my window down at my place on Nolin Lake. Went out to the truck, and called him up to 40 yards with one of those push-pull calls, which was all I had. He had a nice beard, and probably would have came closer if it hadn't been for my dog barking at him. Anyway, he was already dead meat with a good load of Hevi-shot had it been season. So much for camo, I was in my red striped boxer shorts, and tee shirt.

I heard some gobbling Saturday afternoon about 2:00 CST. I was fishing the tail waters of Lake Cumberland. After loading my boat and pulling off the ramp I heard them. I never could spot them though.
Haven't heard any lately, but did see a nice bird Saturday in one of my fields with about five hens close to his side.
