Ground blind or no blind at all??? Also, ive heard that if you hunt in a blind, you should wear black since the inside of the blind is black...what do you guys think??

No blind at all. I hunt public in Ky, so I tend to stay away from the fields, and like to be able to bail out or repostition quickly if the need arises.

No blind or just something made on site.
I do have a pop up blind, just have trouble setting in one place.
Also, most of my hunting is done on public tracts and I try to get well off the road packing a pop up is a big pain.

Pop up. I enjoy talking to others, moving around & taping. They'll come by just a matter of time, tom has all day.

No blind for me, like CL said, its like sitting inside a speaker box... Ruins the whole hunt for me. Your sight/sound seems very limited...But thats just me....hunt on boys!!!!

I prefer no blind at all. But i won't hesitate to use one if the situation calls for it.

I like a stake blind, personally. It's kinda like a "happy medium" between the two. Easy & quick to set up/tear down and it hides as much or as little of me as I want and adjusts quickly. On top of that, I think I paid a whoppin' $25 bucks for mine and it'll last just as long as a $100+ pop up blind.

I prefer no blind, but do use them more now with a camera man. It makes filming much easier, they just don't pick up on movement in the blind. Now that I'm bowhunting birds more the blind is nearly a must. As for the black, not neccesary.

I mainly run and gun but do hunt out of a blind some .On a rain day or taken someone new or bow hunting a blind is grate.Anyone who has never killed a bird or moves to much should try a blind it is almost like cheating.

love a blind set up with a strutting decoy setup on a toms strutting area. cant beat it. plus now that im filming all my hunts it makes it a must but if the birds dont cooperate ill pickup and move to get in the path of the birds

i prefer no blind at all unless im bow hunting. i think its better getting set up real quick and stuff like that, its more exciting then just putting a blind up and shooting them.

I do both but like the feeling of being backed up to a tree and seeing everything going on---I will start out this time in a blind for the reason of trying to get my first with a bow

No blind...mobility is key to greater success.
