i am planning on videoing the kids turkey hunts this spring and was wondering how is the best way to hide the camera.i do have a short tripod to eliminate some movement but need to hide it.dont really want to use tape or anything and take a chance messing up the cam.any ideas would be helpful.

I used to take an old camo short sleeve t-shirt and a roll of camo cloth tape and put the camera lens through one of the arm holes on the t-shirt and tape it snug around the lens and then drape the rest of the shirt around the camera it worked great. Now I just use the cloth tape and apply all over my camera. I tried it before I did it and it comes off cleanly and it looks really cool I have even had people ask me if I bought it that way. I just leave it camo all the time now.

I know you said you don't want to put any tape on your camera, but they do make tape that is specifically cut for many camera models out there now. So, that could be an option.

The guy I hunt with (he's a pro staffer for K&H), uses a big piece of burlap with a lens hole. He drapes the burlap over him and the camera while sticking the lens out through the hole in the burlap. He also has his camera taped up with tape that was cut specifically for his camera. They both do a great job of concealment....but it does get hot under that burlap.

Here's a link to a site that has the camera tape....they call them camera skins.

Hope this helps. :D
