Believe it or not there is a driveway there someplace. With the help of two good neighbors it only took two days to cut out enought to get a vehicle thru. We still working on it, took down two leaning trees yesterday.

Don't feel alone, we have not seen anyone except the neighbors since this thing started. Like you we seen the N/G driving around near town but none in the country. We are still without power or water going on day 14. I caught a county water employee yesterday shutting off a valve that leads to our storage tank nearby. He said the county has 11 tanks and that 9 of them were full, yet he was closeing the line that ran to ours...remember righty tighty...lefty loosey...I watched him for a good five minutes with the big T wrench cranking away turning the valve to the right. A call to the water company and state utilitys board will be made today...14 days is uncalled for to restore water to any part of one county when you have water being pumped in from two ajoining countys also. Both Logan and Todd countys have lines running into Muhlenberg and have for several days.
Power..well Saturday night I seen a utilitys truck spotlight following the line our power comes off of. Since we had a line from the road to the pole with the transformer on it broke it will have to be repaired. The power company employee said tomorrow we will have a crew working in your neighborhood and they will take care of the broke line. About a hour after he left all but our house and one other with a downed line the power came on. In several trips to town and around the area I have seen ONE power crew working on repairs and that was a contractor not the power company employee's themselves.

It looked a whole lot like that around here but wishful thinking ...hoping... my farm in north Christian (off 107) would'nt be too bad....... wrong.
No damage to our cabin but every road on our place looks like Duster's picture...except for the ice & snow.:D
Reminded me of when we bought it in 85...just been logged. Took us 20 plus years to get things cleaned up.. nature helped too. Now it looks like were back to square one. What a mess.
