finally got power back this afternoon. Was getting tired of pouring gas into the generator. Looks like my parents down in Muhlenberg county might get theirs on today as well.

Yup. I just got my power back on at 11:30 this morning. Enough is enough. There are still lots of folks in here (Muhlenberg) with no water and electricity. No water is the worst part.

Damn dude, that sucks. I'm glad you have it back. I went a few days without. That was no fun.

Mine was out 6 days (Wed thru Monday)....just getting my DSL back up tonite. Not fun in the middle of the winter.

Glad to hear you got it!!

I woke up the first night we got power back thinking I needed to fill the tank on the kerosene heater. Its a good bet you will have the urge to fuel the generator for awhile.:D

I have been told at least 2 more weeks if not more. My nieghbor who lives 500 yrd from me across the field has power because he is on the main highway.

Still no power here either, crews reset poles and rehung wires yesterday, maybe we'll get power today but I'm not holding my breath.

My house was off for 6 days and my office for 10. I've gained a little weight, cooking out every night, eating whatever was available and going to bed at dark.;) I'll probably work it off cutting up trees.:)

No power still, however, i do like getting 12 hours of sleep a night.

dang man, I thought you guys were going last week. the other side of town, going towards Corner Market got hooked up 4 or 5 days ago. You know where I am at if you need anything.

I hear you on the food thing. Plenty of time to work on meals. I wondered about you guys, looked like yall got it pretty bad as well.

Thanks pentail, we are completely surrounded by lights but none for us along Derringer.
