How long are people going to sit back and pretend this country isn't approaching a bad bad time.

I mean there is folks on here and everywhere that really beleive times really are tough already.

What's going to happen when they print so much fake money, the dollar becomes worthless. China quits lending us money because they see no way there going to get it back, you'd better be able to live like Barney and provide for yourself.

I had this discussion with a guy the other day, he said it was impossible, that his brain could not allow him to think that this country could fail. I asked if he'd ever heard of Rome? He didn't care. He just kept saying what about the masses of people who live in the cities? Are you just going to shoot em? I said no. I said but how will they get food? He said govt programs! I said, nope govt will be broke! He said well the farmers will send it to them, I said, so a farmer is going to farm and do all this for nothing?

I don't think folks realize how fast it could all happen, I hope that it never does. But I'm not so blind to think that it couldn't.

Its scarey to think what could happen Scott...I talk to people who are oblivious to the possibility of what may come.
As for the auto industry...if I have to pay to keep them afloat, where is my free car or BIG discount on one:confused::mad:

Why not. At this point it's all a big grab for cash. Company's get bailed out, taxpayer foots bill. Taxpayer still the one suffering in long run.

yea but it can all change in a matter of months if not weeks!

There is only so much the people can carry, everywhere you turn there is some sucker standin there with their hand out.

When money stops flowing, it will be really scary! If your in the country and can grow and provide for yourself, you'll fare the best, these city folk that depend on the grocery stores will be hurting!

when things get harder, crime will go up, and poeple you didn't think would break the laws, will....so we better hold tight to our 2nd amendment, beside hunting might be what helps alot of us survive....the mess we have running our government wants to control us in everyway possible before times get to hard and we have to stand up...right now we are in critical times, but still not hopeless, but we are heading that way quickly
