View Full Version : Squirrel Rifle
Any of to fellows know what a .32 cal rifle would cost or who catties them? I'm looking for something like a T-C "Squirrel" Hawken. My daughter shot one today and did very well with it. In the past she has had some bad experiances with smokepoles.

Gsp:
I am guessing that you are looking for a percussion lock? Traditions has a 32 cal called a Crocket, they also have a Shenandoah in 36 cal new this year. If you can find a CVA Varmit it would be a good choice. Check auction arms, e-bay or gunbroker on-line as they have some small caliber offerings on occasion. I'm not familar with the TC 'squirrel' Hawken but since it is a TC it would be a good choice.
Shoot me an e-mail.

There was an outfit in Southern Indiana called Deer Creek that made a little side hammer (mule ear) in 32, 36, 40 & 45 which was very reasonable (less than $200). Haven't seen any of their wares for a while, but they were based in Friendship, the city, not the NMLRA property.
Thanks guys, we are in the "looking" mode right now.

Plum forgot about Deer Creek 1-765-525-6181. If that number doesn't work try:

ask for Bob
They also have a website but I can't get it to load. Hope it works for you.

I gave them a look. I found one of the "mules ears" on an auction.

You wouldn't need a left handed model by chance would you?
