Wow,this 3 inches of snow really suprised me.I knew we were supposed to have some snow showers but had no idea this was going to happen. We had a trip planned to go to Laurel today but now that this happened we decided we didnt wanna lose the boat and truck to them sliding down the icey ramp into the lake:D

My son spent the better part of two hours this morning on top of a garbage can lid going down the driveway.

We got about 3 flakes over this way. We had about 3/8" of sleet once this year. That's about typical.

I was shocked to see the ground covered when I went outside this morning to let the dog out. To be honest, I didn't even know they were even calling for snow much less enough to cover the ground and roads.

we've had several snows this year, there was snow on the ground during deer season, and there were several 2-3" snows in december, probably an inch or two on now.

i wonder why that part of the state is so different?

hey, we get those too.... when i was younger i was at MSU with my mom at work, "morehead state" that is. but.. there was one came through there and leveled the forest across from the university

then when i worked at carter caves, one came through there and tore up jack, and last spring they had one over at Grahn.

i'm sure we don't get them as big as the western part, but we get em..
