I have an 87 pontoon boat.
It's a 24'
Can anyone give me an idea of what the scrap aluminum might be worth?
Thanks, Brewtus

well you did have something pretty valueable!
if it were mine i'd pull it behind a barn or something and hope aluminum gets as high as it were a year ago

I'd sell that to a waterfowl hunter to make a ducblind out of. My brother and my neighbor had one together. It worked well on ky lake. that is a really good size for those lakes too.

You should be able to sell it for a boat dock. Should be pretty easy to sale.

Not sure what scrap aluminum is paying right now, but I have about 75 pounds of cans and was going to take them in last week. I called and they are only giving 35 cents a pound right now. I am just going to hang on to them and keep saving until it gets a little better. Heck I got 97 cents a pound back about a year ago.
trust me

If it floats or can be made to float, it has more value as a pontoon than as a pile of scrap.

Thanks guys. I think I will take your advice and sell it.
It has a 90HP Yamaha on it that is worth some money too.
Someone told me the logs were worth about $2000. I couldn't believe that.
