Nothing. Trying to decide what my day will consist of. Daughter has friend over watching scary movies and wife will be doing homework most of the day. May go see my brother. Who knows. :)

Crazy weather, our church was called off out in the county because of freezing rain and 12 miles away it was only raining and 37 degrees. Now it's snowing and sleeting and sticking, but it's not below freezing.

Wrapping up some things at work and going home to pig out and watch the Steelers beat the Ravens for the 3rd time this season. After that I'm gonna get my crap together for one more day of bow hunting and hopefully I want be eating buck tag soup 'tween now and September. Come on Mepperson...put me on a biggun in the morning.

I'm resting my bones after chasing grouse and dogs for 3 hours. 3 seen, none got a ride in the truck.

I'm not old but my joints hurt like a 70 year old man's. I'm beginning to look forward to the end of the season.

well, after the trip on the treadmill, I cooled down and headed outside. Went to the neighbors and paid him for the hay he brought me yesterday, cleaned the garage, fired up my little 4x4 yanmar and pushes a dead snag out of the road and into the ditch the rest of the way. it fell a few days ago and someone had rolled it to the edge of the road but that was it. I fed and watered the dogs, took the heating element out of the horse trough after an all night thaw out,(She was greatful) put the hay ring around the new roll, filled up all three bird feeders, aired up the tires on the neighbors van. (She had 4 new tires a month ago, she came by to sell girl scout cookies and i noticed they were low. All four had 28 lbs. called for 44.:eek:) Came in to this dang thing and awaiting broiled chicken thighs I am going to lightly dip in a little Sweet Baby Rays per bite. That's about it.:D

Time to take it easy for a while, watched the cats play earlier then went out to check my trail cam and move it. Refilled my feeder and put out a trophy rock i have had sittin around for a while. Now its time to watch the playoffs.....hopefully see the Steelers win tonight!!

I have been lazy all day! This week was a bear at work and I didn't get to everybody either! I remembered as I left a job yesterday of another job I needed to see about. I hope the people understand, I told them I was covered up with work and it would be a while before I could even look at another job. They told me as long as I would do it they would wait! I do not like making people wait though.

Been lazy...did some checking on airfare to Vegas...Another trip out that way is in the near future. Filled up the backyard feeder with the last bag of corn, so tomorrow I will have to make a run to town and pick up a few more bags.

I am sitting on the couch watching O Brother, Where Art Thou? Finished with the list of chores, ate lunch at Claudia Sanders, Getting ready to head into town to feed the youngins the dinner meal (My turn to cook). Hoping to get a chance at a morning hunt.

Hunted this morning. I saw hundreds of ducks but none working. Redheads, cans, goldeneye, blacks, mallards and gaddies.

After that I headed to work and mounted a deer. Back at home now cooking a little broccoli/chicken casserole. Might get out again in the morning, might not. ;)

Nope, that there is the real deal. Claudia Sanders Dinner Bell. A real live sit down restaurant/buffet, or you can order off of the menu. They have the same chicken, and also have roast beef and pork tenderloin. If you talk to the guy cutting the roast beef, he will cut you off a peice of meat so big Richard Simmons would choke on it. They have fresh veggies, real gravy, real mashed taters, and more desert than Rosie O'Donnell could eat.

I did not concider that. I love Vegas for about a long weekend :). After that it starts to get tiresome. Especially if I am loosing!!! We are taking another couple with us this trip. Neither have ever flown or been to Vegas...that should be fun to start with. I guess we are going to do the tourist thing with a Grand Canyon and Death Valley side trips thrown in. Thinking about a 6 night stay this trip so we should still have plenty time to feed those slots and play some table games.

When I have nothing else to do, i go to work and make a little money. I'm trying to get all the deer back in a timely manner this year. So far, so good. :D
